I’m from Chennai and love cricket. Even before IPL had started I was looking forward for it (even got a set box at home).
I was thinking of starting a blog on the team I support in the IPL - the Chennai Super Kings. Brought domain, hosting and launched Chennai Super Kings Na Summa Vaa (Don’t take CSK lightly).
You might not find news (like players fee cap to go, Warne-Ganguly fined, etc..) and I want to post articles which you might not read anywhere. Opinions, previews, reviews and other tidbits be on focus. And as always original articles written by me.
The blog is running for quite some time now and decided to bring to beta stage today. Here are some of the post that I had written:
Cricket (and CSK fans) please visit the site, subscribe and support this venture. Brickbats and suggestions welcome.

Many times I get mails from readers/visitors of this blog as how to blog, make money, give tips for their blog and related topics.
It’s irritating to read such things when the blog has only 2 posts or 1 week old.
In this two-part series I’ll cover some tips for new bloggers/ wannabe bloggers to build a successful blog.
Wish I could give you the secret of successful blogs. But I can’t, even if I want to.

Looking to improve your AdSense earnings?
Start to use AuctionAds along with AdSense. Hit 2 mangoes with a single stone. You’re going to improve your AdSense CTR (thereby earnings) and if you optimize your AuctionAds, then that’ll also earn you additional income.
Using images along the AdSense attracts eyeballs and improve the ad Clicks (CTR - Click Through Rate; number of ad clicked per 100 ads). Previously I was using images to be displayed along the AdSense Ads, but now that’ll be violating their TOS.
TNB gets at least 150k Pageviews every month. Even 1% increase in the CTR will reflect in increase in earnings. Assuming with just 100k AdSense Page impressions (as we might not have AdSense in all pages) and 1% increase in the CTR and $3.5 Page eCPM, you’re almost earning additional $30 every month.

“I didn’t think I’d be able to swim as fast as what I have this meet.” - Ian Thorpe, when he achieved 4 world records in 4 days.
How much times have you heard directors say they didn’t expect the movie to a blockbuster, actors say they thought their acting was terrible, bloggers say their writing is crap, etc. even thought the movie was a mega hit, the acting was top notch and we read the blog for their writing.
Do you know that The Shawshank Redemption was not a big hit in the cinemas but it became one of the highest grossing video rentals of all time?
Similarly, you might see this blog in a different way than I do. I might write on various topics but you will remember this blog with a subject that connects you which later becomes the real theme of my work.
Normally I never take part in Blog meme as I feel they almost never provide any real value to our readers and I don’t want to do something just because others are doing it. Chris came up with a wonderful meme What is Your Blog About Really?, which is a great idea to improve this blog.
What do you think?
So tell me by commenting what you think this blog is about?
Thank you!

I tried a small exercise with StumbleUpon. I tried to find out the kind of things that I liked after giving thumbs up to 10 random sites. I was a blogger wearing a Stumbler’s hat.

StumbleUpon is my favorite Social Network Site. StumbleUpon helps us discover and share great websites. We have no clue as to what site is going to load.. so in a way I like the thrills that I get.
Here are my topics of interest, so that you can gauge the sites that might pop up :

Before starting to Stumble, I opened Notepad to note the sites that I gave thumbs up and why I liked them.
