Let’s cut the crap now. To make the proceedings interesting here, I write no review about the shows and I’ll list the best seasons to watch out for.
Lost Vs Prison Break Vs Heroes
Here’s the individual season rankings:-
Heroes 1 > PB 1 > Lost 2 > Lost 4 > PB 3 > Lost 1 > Lost 3 > Heroes 2 > PB 2
…and on the whole I would rate:
Lost > Heroes > PB
* PB - Prison Break. The number denotes the season. PB 1 > PB 2 means PB 1 is better than PB 2.
Why these shows rock?
Lost: The character development is so damn well done. The screenplay goes back and forth in the lives of the characters and their life in the island simultaneously.
I’m a sucker for feel good thingies. Many ending sequences is shot in an uplifting mood and background score without the dialogues speak volumes about what they want to convey. Plus those locations are beautiful. Sun kissed sand beaches and lush forests makes lostville exotic.
The best thing about Lost is it almost gets better every season.
Prison Break: Initially my liking to PB was attributed to the Prison Break movies, I liked. It’s a mash up of Shawshank Redemption and Escape from Alcatraz. Lost it’s sheen in the second season yet picked up pace from the third one.
Heroes: The first season totally rocks. I used to see 5-6 epics in a day else I couldn’t sleep. We get thrilled while watching a Superman or a Batman movie - imagine if you get hit by 20 such super heroes? Even though the second season is not as good as the first one it keep your interest going. It wasn’t great but not bad either.
New seasons of Heroes (S3 - Sept ‘08) and Lost (S5 - early ‘09) are already being shot and I can’t wait.

Hmmm…. that’s something I don’t like (watching in some Indian TV channel) on 3 fronts.
1. Why am I watching a Second season when the third one is done with?
2. Why would I watch a season epic by epic when I can watch them all on a go?
3. Why would I watch the epics with Ads?

I love the three shows especially Lost. The first season of Prison Break was the most addictive IMO. The 3rd season didn’t start too well at first but got interesting as the season progressed. Heroes is a great show. Can wait for the next season to come out.

I don’t think the writers have any end in mind. So most probably when the ratings start to drop they are just going to give some kind of crappy ending and leave you unsatisfied. That’s why I stopped watching it mid-season 3. Will wait to see if it ever ends properly…
I rate lost season 1,3,4 greater than season 2.. season was just average imo… prison break 1st was awesome.. 2nd was good.. 3rd except for the beginning it sucked in my opinion due to the writer’s strike :(. looking forward to 4th season.. and dude.. how r u stable in tvtorrents :(. i saw another post where u told about how to manage that credits thingy.. but by the time i download an epic and seed it in tvtorrents many seeders are already there

Hehe… I agree that they stretch. Don’t you think TV Shows are meant to show the same time for a decade? Did you refer to PB or Lost? Lost is seriously cool. Sometimes you get irritated by the ‘questions’ but as you watch along you’ll get the answers.

I felt Lost 2 was good as they carried the story forward and had our interests going.
I’ve almost have 40 GCredits (all time high of 54 GCredits). Obviously it’s difficult to upload for shows like Lost, PB or How I met your Mother. I leech The Apprentice, Dragon’s Den, The Sopranos (S1), etc.. where you got the chance to upload. It’s surprising that leechers are there (& getting slow speeds!) but not enough seeders. The secret is to get old shows and have tons of patience (some of the torrents in my Azureus were added more than 4.5 months ago and I seed the popular shows for 5 weeks).
oh ok ! yea 2nd season played a major part for carrying the story forward.. but i hated that numbers thingy! that irritated me the most and i hate locke
.. and hey ashwin is there any other series like these 3.. i saw arnd 3 epics of heroes but i dont like these superhero stuff .. anything that is bizzare and thrilling as lost? or something great like pb?

I should be honest to tell that I’ve seen much shows on these type of Genres (or there aren’t good good shows). Dexter seems to be OK but I need to see more epics to draw some conclusion.
True, that watching on TV is kinda slower than the rest of the world, but I have a huge back-log now to clear, with regards to these shows and downloading so many seasons sizing to more than 8 GB a season, is not an option, there are too many shows, too many seasons man!

Hehe, so true, Manan. I literally am watching epics even before finishing the download! I burn only a few shows to DVDs, so I’m OK with ‘watchable’ quality and not DVDRips/HDRips. But we got no options but to leech 8.5 GB+ for a Season.
does some 1 know which place to get hold of these “all ” of seasons ?

All the above shows are available in all leading public & private trackers with the whole 9 seasons with the all epic combined. I quite can’t understand why you want DVD-Rs?
^^nothing special DVD-Rs , a ready to burn with Menu , something like you cooked Mutter Paneer & I just took it in dish & ate without any hassle
( although I know how to make customised )
Ok, DVD-Rs are difficult to find. But doesn’t it take a lot of time to d/l as there might be 2-3 DVDs for a single season. From where have you d/led these before?
