iTunes is not just for managing iPods & your Digital Music and be a yet another music player. With iTunes Store, make iTunes the capital of your entertainment world.
iTunes Store is Apple’s Digital store wherein we can buy/rent movies, songs, TV Shows, albums, etc. Creating an account is free and not many people where we can put the iTunes Store to good use. The best part is we needn’t pay a penny.
How to get an iTunes Store account
Goto ‘Store’ section in your iTunes. There’ll be a link to create an account (or it’ll prompt you). You can create an iTunes account with 17 countries (not yet in India) but US store has the best stuffs. UK store comes second.
1. Create an account directly (needs Credit Card information)
If you’re creating an account, you’ll need to provide your Credit Card details (i.e. US CC details for US store). If your country doesn’t has a iTunes Store, ask your friends/relatives to provide this information.
2. iTunes Store Gift Cards
Available in the denomination of $15, 30 and 50. In addition to the freebies; you can buy ringtones, audiobooks and rent movies/TV Shows.
Cool stuff from the iTunes Store for $0
1. Album Art

The only reason you’ll ever need to have an iTunes account. If you’re songs are properly tagged (Artist and Album info), then just right click any song and then click ‘Get Album Artwork’. iTunes will download the album art for free. The Album Art are high resolution ones, only drawback is that they don’t have the Art of every other albums.
2. Single of the Week

Every Tuesday, iTunes Store will feature 1-3 single songs which are free. I’ve listened (and look forward every tuesday) and they’re good, not some promotional random music.
3. Free Videos

Once in a while, you get free videos from itunes Store. This particular week, there were 7 free videos. Most of freebies will be pilot episodes of TV shows, so you can check them out before deciding to get them.
4. Podcasts

Initially meant for iPod but gained enough popularity to be listened in computers. I’ve subscribed to short stories, motivational speeches and other misc stuffs. There’s this Vintage Tooncast which is a must subscribe podcast. You can listen to news, learn new language or catch with Hollywood Gossips.
Note: Podcasts aren’t exclusive to iTunes Store.
5. Front Row Integration
[Mac Only] After you download free videos, songs and podcasts, you hit the hip & cool Front Row/Apple TV. Milind has written a fantastic guide on how to manage media files in Front Row. More on how cool your media files be flaunted to in that guide.

Podcasts are very good, I like the HD content in them. Just yesterday itself I ‘ve organised all my content ( music, movies, TV shows, videos ) in iTunes and boy the thing looks cool in Front Row!!
Why don’t you write an article on organizing content in iTunes ?? Neat article yours man.
Thanks.
But what more organization? I guess Milind has covered it?
