Wanted to watch the movie in Preview show yesterday but it’s running to packed house. An amazing and a must watch movie.
What a movie and look how 2007 comes to an end!
Splendid Screenplay and Good Performances
A story of how a boy affected by Dyslexia (the parents don’t know initially) overcomes his issue and gets on with life. What sets apart is the screenplay. There was no loose ends in those 2.5 hrs.
First Rang De Basanti and now this one. Aamir Khan, yet again proved why he’s the best Actor in Bollywood. Darsheel Safary as Ishaan also rocked. Be it emotional scene, comedy or Hritik Roshan type dance moves (during punishment), he acted with facile. Everyone in the movie gave strong performance and gave life to their character.
Aamir, act or/and Direct more such gems. Even if 3 out of 5 film is Box Office Success, that’s better than 5 ‘commercial’ movies.
3 X 9 = 3
Yes. Literally.
There’s this scene. A Math test. The boy imagines the numbers as planets. 3 is earth and 9 is Pluto. Earth and Pluto fight it and eventually Earth wins. There you go. 3 X 9 is 3! You have to see it to believe it.
So much creativity. Never seen a better introduction titles . The song where the boy, Ishaan wanders by is so full of life and fresh. The Camera angles and attention to small incidents is evident. The paintings, the bedroom graffiti, that notebook is so fresh. Cinematography stood out - making you think like the child.
Emotional Roller Coaster
I’ve never ‘cried’ so much ever watching any movie. 
The movie will also make any steel hearted person to melt. The good part is that you cry and laugh in tandem.
Needs guts to choose this subject on back of 3 back to back blockbusters. But Aamir made the movie, which not only entertains, but also makes you laugh, think, look creatively. On the whole, a satisfying movie.
See the movie clip that comes during the end credits (truly amazing). The movie was given a standing ovation punctuated with claps and whistles, Indian ishytle.
Don’t miss it. Take your family to the Cinemas and enjoy.
It’ll make your day.

there are few films that made with different genre like this ,specially involving children perspective major .
plus we should also credit scriptwriter for such marvel :).

I was remained of I am Sam (Amazing movie & Sean Penn rocked), but this is no connection. Even the themes are different. TZP is a completely original movie, AFAIK. In I am Sam, it’s just the reverse, a father has the disability and the story revolves around him and his daughter.
The story, screenplay and dialogues are amazing. Aamir decided to act, direct & produce only after he read and was satisfied with the script.

If you want to watch movies during which I ‘cried’, then you should be watching a lot of movies.
Jokes apart, try not be emotional. The movie hits so many emotional highs that it’s hard not to ‘break down’.

I’m really glad someone like Aamir did this movie. Atleast due to his popularity, this movie will be watched by lot of people. I think a movie on Dslexia (or Down Syndrome?) was made this year, but it just faded away. I don’t remember the name of the movie. I’m definitely watching this movie after 2 weeks. Now, exam time

Ahh… thats what even I thought so. If some less popular actor made this movie, it wouldn’t have been such a hit with the masses.
I’ll suggest to just go and watch. You’ll feel much better and maybe your performance might improve in the exam.

That’s absolutely true! I really loved the movie.
Especially when Aamir explains the reality to Ishaan’s parents, and when there was a round of applause in the last scene, it was hard for me to control my tears
