Goodbye Dubai.

By the time this post appears in here, I would be sitting in the flight ready to take off…

Today after a year in Dubai, I’ve leaving to go back to India. I’ll be flying from Sharjah (10 Kms from Dubai) to Thiruvananthapuram (father is transfered to some place near there). Would staying there for some 10 days before leaving to Chennai on 13th.

I’m going to write CAT (MBA entrance exam) & other related exams and hopefully get in a premier institute. Previously I was so close in getting admitted in IIM K after being waitlisted, but this time I should not miss the target. :)

As I won’t have net connection for sometime till 14th of this month, I should be taking a blogging break. :)

I was happy for most of times thinking I’ll be in India but as time nears from the date you’re leaving, you’ll start to miss the things that happened to you here. I missed India when I was here, and now I’m already missing Dubai!

i chanced upon your website by chance. and i throroughly enjoyed reading some of the recent posts.

i will add you in my reader and keep checking out stuff you write. i also liked your movie reviews.

all the best for cat. and as for coming back to india i think you don’t have to worry since india is the ‘happening’ place to be now. and people from everywhere (indians and others) and trying to get a piece of the action here.

i don’t do serious movie reviews since i don’t manage to watch too many :-)

i maintain 2 blogs.
1. guruprasad.blogspot.com - a personal blog on india, indianness, and the myriad things that catch my attention. and
2. kalina-rendezvous.blogspot.com - a blog for philosophy, vedanta, chinmaya mission, etc. for those people who are interesed in such stuff.

I might go back to Dubai after writing exams and come back for interviews (if any) during Feb./March.

I never think India as an inferior place than Dubai. I don’t care if Dubai has better infrastructure, roads, standard of living, etc… IMO India always rocks. As I’ve said earlier, you got to live outside your nation to know the true value of your country.

Yeah.. if you wish to come, then do so in Dec. or so. The climate is pleasant at that point of time.
