Looking to improve your AdSense earnings?

Using images along the AdSense attracts eyeballs and improve the ad Clicks (CTR - Click Through Rate; number of ad clicked per 100 ads). Previously I was using images to be displayed along the AdSense Ads, but now that’ll be violating their TOS.

Using AuctionAds along with AdSense for better CTR
Now I’m using AuctionAds which has an image along with the eBay listing. 
Our Ads look like this:
Just add the code before your AdSense code. Make sure that you’ve removed the border, match your link color and use the old format.
When I used images with the AdSense, the CTR was around 9% (sometimes as high as 15%). But I was running 2 rectangle AdSense blocks at that time against one now. You might not get that kind of CTR again but over 50% increase in the CTR without the images is always better.
Now as an irresistible temptation, AuctionAds (aff.) is giving free $25.00 Bonus for new publishers. It’s hard to make money off AuctionAds (at least for blogs like TNB) and we need to make $50 before we’re paid, yet sign up for better AdSense CTR.

I was testing… as of now this is going to be my setup.
I think this will be a violation of Google Adsense TOS. Because google asks us, if we use other services along with adsense it must be get differed from the adsense like using the same colour scheme. Nope. I don’t think so. Google asks us not to put images with AdSense. AuctionAds are not contextual and it’s not my problem (or AuctionAds) that they have images in it.

infact when i saw it, i was a bit confused over the images, but when read the post, i came to know that the secret is out
im a new adsense chap and just created a blog page where i have put bidvertiser ads……..i think bidvertiser is a crap becoz they said new sign up will get 10 dollar free but they didnt gave it to me……so im removing it and put adsense instead………pliz have a look and comment on my site…….and suggest me how can i increase my traffic, ctr and cpc. thanks.

There’s no magic formula to increase my traffic, CTR and CPC. Just work hard and you’ll learn the tricks of the trade as time goes by…

I use the referral buttons next to the ads. DJ suggested it and then everyone started using it. I got a huge increase in my CTR and I still use it. But I wonder why others have discontinued. Great trick with auction ads!

I was just testing the Ads for the CTR and CPM. Plus how the ads perform.
I have auction ads as you have put. but don’t know why you removed it again. Any reason ? Let me know if it against Google tos other wise i wud be in soup :(q

Yeah… tell me how it went about in your site.
Ashwin you are right that they dont want images and you are right that Auction Ads are contextual.
But again
1.It generates image Next to it.
2. Though Google allows you to use other ad services but this close, I really doubt it. I will mail Google and Ask about it.

Yeah, let us know what Google thinks of this.
Google just tells us that don’t have images next to Ads. They never mention about the ads that might have an image.

The idea is very good, but if you think it is against Google TOS you can also put a Google “IMAGE” ad next to that ad. So one 336×280 image ad followed by a 350×250 text ad.

I don’t think this is a violation of the TOS. The Google Image ads is also an nice idea. I’ll try that for sure.
