Weekend Party @ The Newspaper Blog

Reading over 170 articles in RSS reader, digging up Techmeme, swimming through social news site aggregators like Popurls & Doggdot daily makes a person go through many good things which makes you share.

Things I wish I’d known when I was younger
If you make your work your life, you’re making your life into hard work

15 life lessons you’ll learn over time. Great article, the man Adrian Savage writes great articles which doesn’t fail to inspire me every time.

Career Advice
I majored in economics, got an MBA, worked at a bank, then a phone company, and became a cartoonist.

Scott says we should be the best at one specific thing and very good (top 25%) at two or more things to have extraordinary Career.

Sometimes, I wonder to what extend people go to get a ‘job’ - doing a computer course (dreaming to be a software engg.), joining tuitions/classes (to drool at girls?), learn/practice puzzles (even if it doesn’t interests them), living in the ‘job hunt’ sites (honestly I have never visited those sites). I didn’t do any of those things, yet I’m fairly successful in my own right.

Seeing the World Through Entrepreneurial Eyes
You should never work for the money
I’m not a worker Bee. I believe we should enjoy life right now, not in your sixties.

The Top Ten Lies Blockbuster Video Tells Their Customers
Sorry, we don’t have that movie – I’ll call the other store and check if they have it

Liars! A store helper got pwned when he tried to act smart when asked for movie suggestions. Anyway no use ranting as I get better stuffs in P2P.

Furniture Alphabets Artworks
Imagine how furnitures look when drawn with pencil and has only alphabets?

Real Life Sea Monsters - 24 Bizarre Creatures of the Deep
Some bizarre creatures that are lurk in the seas. Looks creepy and scrary.
