April 18th, 2007 — I, Me, Myself
I turn 23 on April 19th. Happy birthday to Me!
It’s going to a different birthday for me. Being away from family, no new dress, no candies, no going to Temple, etc.. but this is one Birthday that I’ve been looking forward for sometime now.
I’ve never been in love with my life as ever.
Regarding the title, don’t ask my anything about it. I don’t know what the best 4 things that happened 23 years back. It was a good caption that I read from my previous year Happy Birthday Post! Nostalgia!!
Now that I’m one step closer to heaven, I’ll share some of my life goals. I was actually tagged by Leo but waiting for the right opportunity.

April 13th, 2007 — My Days in Dubai

That as a picture shot at our flat. Sometimes it was turned into mini bars.
Made public here, just to bust a myth that UAE is a ‘dry’ place.
UAE being a Muslim country, it’s difficult for ‘drinkers’. You can’t find any bars that we find otherwise unless the place happens to be a upmarket place. You can still find many ways to get your hands on one of those bottles. The easiest way is buying them from Dubai Duty Free shops at the Dubai International Airport. There are almost no restrictions and you can bring home some liquors from the airport and consume in Dubai Emirate. Of course there are illegal ways as well.
For information on liquors and consumption stuffs in the UAE, check out Legal permit to buy spirits @ Gulf News. Now I’ll go about busting myths about Dubai/UAE.

“Usenet - its easy to use and learn, and quicker than a blow job from a Supermodel.” - A comment at TorrentFreak
95% of the folks who using the Internet to download don’t know that they have multiple choice at their disposal to get what they want!
Do you know you have more than 7 different ways to download from? We’ve the classic http (that is, plain links off sites), P2P softwares (like Ares, Limewire), file hosting sites (like Rapidshare, Megaupload), Torrents, IRC, Usenet and some Private top scene release sites.
It will seem that Usenet, IRC and things like that are for geek gods, but they’re easy (even I can download using them!) and once you’re hooked and come to know the things better, then you rule the roost. You’ll never even come back to http or Rapidshare downloads.
Recently I came across a good tutorial on Usenet posted at TorrentFreak (I love that blog) as how to download via Usenet. I’ve already covered How to download stuffs using torrents, so it would be a value addition if I post how to download using Usenet and IRC.
The irony of this downloading things with Usenet and IRC is those are not first used for downloading purposes! Then we people started using for our file sharing requirements. I’m not posting my own review as I’m not that well versed and expert in these areas even though I know how to download.

After the popularity of the Private Torrent Trackers and List of the Best Torrent Tracker and Subtitles Sites posts, I thought information about the new sign ups available in private trackers would be an value addition.
Private Trackers are trackers which requires registration before you can use this service. So that brings us to the question as how you can register?
Registration is mainly by two types:
1. You get invited by members of the tracker. (You can request for invites here)
2. You can directly join the tracker whenever it’s open for sign ups (when the user limit is less than the current level)
Requesting for invites is not really affective (but here at my blog our readers are generous!). So looking for Private Trackers which are currently open for sign ups have become a favorite pastimes of many people. Yours truly included.
So I thought I’ll make things easy and simple where we have information about these things. Myself and my readers will keep informed about any new activity in this regard which will help others. If you find any trackers open for sign up, let us know by commenting below.
