I know many people (like me) who have acess to Internet but not to TV and want to watch their Favourite channels, TV Shows or Movies.. rejoice! Good news for you guys.
It’s a myth that you can see TV channels in TV only. You can get to see the stream of various popular channels in the Internet and sometimes by the Channel only.
It takes some time for movies or TV shows to get released outside the USA. So sites like this becomes a boon for people who look forward to grab a TV show episode or a movie.
Getting Started
Before getting started you should get acquitted with basic things that will be helpful for you.
- You need a good broadband Internet connection. 2 Mbps connection would be ideal with equal upload line.
- Install Windows Media Player, Real Player and Internet Explorer.
- Change the buffer refresh rate to 30 seconds so that you get a sort of uninterrupted streams. This settings should be in the options tab of the media player.
- Common Stream Formats: If the format is mms:// and .asx open with windows media player. If it’s rtsp:// and .rm / .ram open with real player.
- Sometimes you might get only the link. In that case you got to manually feed in the link to your media player. Goto File -> Open Url (or just Open in case of Real Player).
That’s it. You can get started now!

Peekvid has 8 categories including Movies and TV shows. All the latest movies and TV shows are available for you to enjoy online without paying a penny. You have the option to see in full screen and in a smaller window.
TVlinks
TVlinks is a directory that list various movie, TV shows, cartoons, etc.. Most of the popular TV shows are listed there. All you have to do is select the desired listing and get started.
TV Video
A slick portal for all you TV show buffs. Almost all of the latest and popular TV shows are covered.
Channel Surfr
Channelsurfr lets you watch all your favorite television shows, cartoons and movies from the convenience of your web browser!
wwiTV
A huge collection of almost 2299 online TV stations listed across a wide spectrum from Movies, Music, Kids, News, Business, etc.

Fox TV Shows
Here you get see the episodes of TV shows aired in Fox Channel including 24 and Prison Break.
ABC
ABC Online streaming is currently available only in the USA. In addition to News, Sports you can also check out the latest aired full length episodes of TV shows including the popular show Lost, Desperate Housewives.
P2P TV Tools
The listed three programs is one of the best tools which uses the P2P for streaming online TV Contents. Remember that it works as the same principle as P2P and you should not cap you upload speeds so that others can also enjoy.
SoapCast
Download the Sopcast player/plugin from the site. Install the program, you should now see channel list. Double click on the desired channel and you should now get started in Windows Media Player.
PPStreams
PPStreams gives you a good quality and many channels to choose from. Download their player. After you’re done, you see the Channel list is on the left, the channel name, the quality of the stream in Kb per second and the users connected to the channel. It’s good for Sports streams as you get channels like ESPN, CCTV5 where you can get all the soccer, cricket action for free.
TVU Player
Download the TVU player from the site. You can also check the TV Guide to help you check the TV listings. You can see popular channels like CBN, ESPN, Star Sports, Cartoon Network, etc..
PPLive
PPLive is a similar service like Shoutcast and PPStream. Just Download the application from the site and run the installation script on pplive. Check the Channel List as it does not come along with it.
Sports
Check Sopcast, PPStreams and Pplive listed above. They list a host of sports channels and events like World Cup Cricket, Euro 2007 Football. In addition to that you can check the following as well.

This site gives you a good tutorial as how to use the streams, various tools and things like that. good place to see Football streams and channels. You get Weekly schedules and Radio links as well.

they have link to live matches on the internet. They are doing a awesome work but refreshing the deadlinks and adding new links at regular intervals. Also there is a link on the gadget that takes users to the forum where lot of other participating users are posting links.
If you find one , i recommend that you post it so that people like me would be able to get to it. I am quite happy to view the last 4 matches since i came across this site.

there are so many sites to watch live tv channels free online moreover all channels shares same streeming at same time so its alwyas be chances to get moreover channels not working together on most of the sites. http://www.alltimetv.com is a platform for all the streming content and updates channels on hourly bases.so less downtime usually as more options are there.
