Enjoy DVD quality Movies in a 2 GB XVID file!

Yeah, I really mean it. No exaggeration. A file size just 2 GB and with resolution 1024×432 or 960 x 528 compared to 720 x 480 resolution of your normal DVD-R, that can play in your “old and slow” PC without any issues. That’s AdmitONE (a scene release group) “HD movies” for you!

HD is high definition, it can only be played optimal when your TFT/LCD supported HD, and you need to have HDCP if you have blue ray player and HD movie. These are Ripped HD DVD movies, usually in 720p. They look great even without a screen that supports it! It looks damn good, even better than 4.xx GB DVD-R. They are really clear and crisp and I don’t see any pixilation even when there is high speed movement.

The AdmitOne releases are sourced from HDTV, but are HR (High resolution) releases not HD releases (HIGH definition). HD means releases that are standard 720p or 1080i (and evetually 1080p).HD means - HIGHER definition in AdmitONE releases (and real HD is HIGH definition).

AdmitONE releases might not be 1280×720 but 960×528 (or 1024×432) is still better than the normal DVD Rip xvid releases in 640×360 at the highest, some releases are only in like 512×272. So for size around 1.39GB to 2.75 GB (but 90% of the releases are 2.1 GB), you get 2.5x the resolution of a normal DVDRip and just more than half (0.55x) the resolution of true HD 720P.

AdmitONE movies will play on DivX ULTRA certified DVD players, not normal DivX certified DVD players.If you want them to play in your DVD player, then rencodede to 720×480, 29.97fps which is the NTSC standards to be playable on your DVD Player.

At present there are 29 movies in these HD format including Serenity, The Matrix, Scarface, Crash,The Girl Next Door, Batman Begins, etc.. I have snatched 6 movies and I might snatch movies more movies if I like the movie that I feel ought to be seen in good quality.

Here is some technical details of these releases. Note that I just picked up a movie and did the testing, most all the releases have pretty much these details:
Video: XVID, 1024×432, 23.98fps,2346Kbps (another one was 960 x 528, 1424 Kbps)
Audio: Dolby 5.1 AC3, 48000Hz ,384 Kbps

The details of the resolution and size of various formats:
DVD - R …………………………… 720 x 480 (4.xx GBs)
AdmitONE…………………………. 960 x 528 / 1024 x 432 (2.xx GBs)
DVD Rips………………………….. 640 x 360 / 512 x 272 (depends on the size) (700 MB to 2.01GB)
Normal HD 720p ………………….. 1280 x 720 (4.xx GBs)
Popular LCD HDTV (1080i) ………. 1366 x 768 (9.5 - 13.5 GBs)
Full HD 1080p …………………….. 1920 x 1080

Why I like these releases?
This is playable on my computer, unlike 720p. Not everyone has Dual/Duo core 3GHz+ computers. My my “slow” and old PC; P3, 128 MB RAM, 800 MHz processor, they play almost flawlessly but the CPU usage is high (there should be no problem if you have a decent rig).

A 1080i HD movie will be like 13.5 GB, now most of us (atleast in India) won’t have high speed connections to snatch such copies. More over, as I use 800 x 600 screen resolution, the 1024×432 or 960 x 528 should look like a 720p or 1080i!! So these movies looks great in my PC and also download time should be less (compared to DVD-R or HD Rips). Thanks to the uploader (anonymous), Torrent Leech and AdmitONE!

The thing is DVD resolution are 720×480 and the DVD Rips XViD releases are normally 612×384 or something, so I believe this could be the thing for HD Xvid releases, they are not going to be as good as the real HD Rip thing but will be better than normal DVDs, so they will be basically in the middle, I enjoy Xvid releases of normal DVDs, so I thing this is the next step for me and many others.

MiND,DVDR,MOLPHiNE,c0nFuSed, (for their DVDR)
iMMORTALs,FastSCeNe, SiLENT,PROMiSE(for their dvdrip)

Though ,some of not known(or heard) but well reputed in scene.

and yeah there is “Band of brothers” 10 episode in that HDTV xvid rips, get it when some gr8 speed comes ( too bad 2 episode comes @ 4.36 GB).

Pukka earned bad reputation for Lucky Numver Slevin movie, when they nuked a DVD SCR copy as DVD Rip. And they get beaten in TS?TC also, when maVen comes up with good quality copies.

I should have added MiND also. They’re also good. Particularly with the 700mb rips.

Regarding the invitation to TL, wait for some time. You can see the latest update in the Private Torrent Tracker post. Can you manage ratio of 1.00?

and really nice post ahswin. all those groups are excellent but i havent seen any RiPTATORz release. which movie have they done. i have downloaded 3-4 admitone releases.

anywya today i downloaded a 1080i revenge of the sith rip. man it was amzing the sound quality video quality. i just couldnt belive my eyes.

it looked great on my 19″ TFT

I also love to snatch these 1080i and 720p copies but my PC won’t play them. I have around 7-8 movies and plan to snatch more AdmitONE releases.

RiPTATORz release at Aradi Tracker, but still you can check their releases in other trackers as well. They release old movies only. 23fps good quality releases.

hey. I was aware of AdmitOne rlses but was not sure that they would be so god..I will be trying one soon.. Any idea how they work after being encoded to DVDR.. and how to encode them so that quality is not degraded…

Hey Veriton, these AdmitONE releases are good for viewing in PC (or a DivX ULTRA certified DVD players).

There were some issues when convert to DVD. Instead y don’t you snatch a copy od DVD-R or these 4 gb HD rips if you have a good connection?

Where exactly do you find these scene releasers? I dont mean torrents but like directly find the scene releaser and d/l from them instead of torrents? And anyone have invites to FileList?

No, you can’t. See, I can d/l a DiAMOND release from one place and upload in the other tracker. So the person who uploads need not be the scene releaser.

If you want to find an alternate to torrents, then you can go for these usenet and other p2p networks.

Abt the filelist, you need to check their site at regular intervals. They don’t have an invite system.
